AREA REPRESENTATIVE, GREATER ROCHESTER

Gavin joined the Rochester FCA staff in 2024 after graduating from Roberts Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical studies. As a lifetime athlete, he played many sports including basketball, cross country, and track & field.   

During his junior year of college, Gavin faced several injuries resulting in personal struggles that led to a renewed faith in God and an identity that is grounded in Jesus. He says, “I found that I don't need all the answers to know God is real, and I found that through Jesus, I have a greater purpose than anything else this world has to offer. My experiences are not unique to me. Coaches and athletes are facing similar physical, mental, and spiritual trials as I did, and it is important that they have someone who can walk beside them.”   

Gavin is proud to serve as an Area Representative focusing on Rochester's East side and is excited at what God has in store through FCA. While he still enjoys playing many sports, he also enjoys spending time exercising, playing disc golf and the occasional video game or two!
